After serving as a private Elks member’s club from the time it was built in 1926 until the 1960s, the MacArthur has been one of LA’s most unique and iconic public venues.

The building staff prides itself on the range of its programming and the diversity of the guests who get to appreciate the beauty of the building.

While prominent politicians, celebrities, and notable cultural icons have hosted events in the space, the building also has a long history supporting local events from Westlake-based community groups.

If you  are a local group, resident, or organization looking to use the venue for an event, please reach out to learn about our special neighbor rates.

Local residents should contact us about local hiring opportunities with the building staff, tenants, or during special events held at the building.

We look forward to continuing to serve the Westlake and surrounding neighborhoods for years to come.
